In addition to the usual functional requirements of a professional office space, such as offices, conference room, print room, break area, etc., this project was primarily intended to be a ˜Green Laboratory" in which the client could research, test and implement sustainable design feature validity and cost. The resulting architecture would be used to educate clients, contractors and the general public in the benefits and practicalities of sustainable design.
