Gracewood Baptist has set a goal of reaching out to more young families. To help achieve that goal, they have decided to build a new multi-use building. This facility will have a full-size basketball court, elevated performance platform, restrooms with locker facilities and a commercial-grade kitchen. The new building will also directly connect to their existing fellowship hall and classrooms.
This new slab-on-grade structure will have pre-engineered steel structure, standing-seam metal roof, partial brick veneer and metal siding. Interior walls will primarily be metal studs and painted gypsum board. The multi-use area will have synthetic flooring, the kitchen will have quarry tile and the wet areas will have ceramic tile or epoxy flooring. Ceilings will be either lay-in acoustical tile or exposed to structure. All spaces will be fully air conditioned using several units to create zones based on use and exposure.
